  • James Divine (Beginner, All Styles)

Jimmy grew up knowing he could be anything—so naturally, he became a music teacher and exceeded all expectations. A retired Army Bandsman and full-time educator, he now teaches band part-time, speaks, trains, writes, podcasts, and occasionally eats cannoli while holding hands with his high school sweetheart (not you—sorry). He holds degrees from St. Joseph’s College and Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and trained at the Army School of Music during his service in Virginia, Japan, and Colorado. With four kids, ten grandkids, and a love for pizza and mountain biking, Jimmy’s ultimate goal is simple: act his shoe size, not his age.
